Time Out 2 - Bringing Sexy Back

Two 'spreads' from my summer 1970 edition of Time Out featuring Verina Glaessner's (one-time film critic and author of 'Kung Fu: Cinema of Vengeance') thoughts on 'Sexy Films'.

I'm not going to offer a critique of the piece other than to say she makes some good observations and that it was probably considered in the spirit of the editorial's progressive politics to commission a woman to write on the topic. Read it and make up your own mind.

I would like to say how much I enjoy the layout of the second spread, the advert for progressive jazz-rockers Soft Machine at the top of their game opposite a photo and final column of the article. Mike Ratledge playing with his organ while a burlesque dancer gyrates. You don't need John Berger to work this one out.
